Dr. Boyd R. Burkhardt
Boyd R. Burkhardt, M.D., F.A.C.S. is a graduate of Stanford University and Harvard Medical School. He has conducted teaching courses in plastic surgery in various cities in the United States as well as in Europe and Asia. Dr. Burkhardt brought the first liposuction machine to Arizona from Paris, France and served as a breast implant advisor to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. He has appeared on ABC's 20/20, in Town & Country, and in the National Edition of The Best Doctors in America. Dr. Burkhardt is a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the Pima County Medical Society, a member and past president of the Rocky Mountain Association of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
